Grace Jordan Padgett gained her angel wings on January 6th, 2023, in Cedartown, Ga. Grace was 86 years old.   Grace was born on May 6th, 1937, in Spartanburg, SC, to W.M.Jordan and Ruby (Wilson) Jordan. Grace was proceeded in death by her three sisters, Louise, Frances, and Gladys (Kay). At the age of 18 on January 27, 1956, Grace married the love of her life, her husband of 42 years Franklin (Frank) Douglas Padgett, who passed away on June 1st, 1998. Grace will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Garden of Peace at Macedonia Memorial Park Canton, Ga, on January 13th, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.    In addition to Grace being blessed with her three sisters and a believer in the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Grace would proceed in life, continuing to be blessed in threes.    Grace has three children, Son Timothy (Boe) Padgett, Daughter Rebecca (Becky) Smith, and was proceeded in death by her first born, Daughter Laura Cox.    Grace has three grandchildren, Shannon Boatman (Daughter of Laura), Julie Christian (Daughter of Rebecca), and was proceeded in death by her Granddaughter Diane Padgett (Daughter of Timothy).    Grace also has three great grandchildren who she loved deeply, Joseph and Sophie Boatman (Son and Daughter of Shannon) and Kaley Doi (daughter of Julie). Joseph Boatman, first born great grandchild sharing her birthday May 6th and Kaley Grace Doi, second born great grandchild sharing her name.    Life may always seem too short. But for those who were blessed to know Grace, understand the imprint she left on their hearts will continue to live on. She was loved by many, and the memories she created will be forever cherished.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Saturday January 13, 2024 at Canton Funeral Home preceded by a visitation from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm.
