Grace Pope, a retired personal care sitter, died Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Carthage Senior Care.
Visitation is 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Freeny Community Church.
Services are 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2025 at Freeny Community Church with Bro. Johnny Pope and Bro. Paul Sanders officiating. Interment is in Lena Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pope was a native of Leake County and a member of Freeny Community Church.
Survivors include 4 sons, Johnny Pope, Owen Pope (Leanna), Louis "T" Pope, and Sam Pope (Michelle), all of Carthage; 2 daughters, Linda Williamson of Forest and Janet Golden (Richard) of Carthage; 5 grandchildren, Wendy Tadlock (David), Mark Golden, Jake Golden, Laurel Wooten (Josh), Lillian Fairchild (Nathan) 1 great-grandchild, (Haysen Wooten).
Pallbearers are Robert Alford, Jon Brooks, Mike Brooks, Michael Brooks, Jackie Harpole, and Anthony Palokas.
