Born: May 13, 1934 | Died: November 20, 2025
After a long life of sharing love, wit, and delicious food with everyone who entered her home Grace Luell Russell, 91, of Maryville, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 20, 2025. Preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Beulah Boone; brother, Charles "Buddy" Boone; husbands, Wayne Bowman and Lester Russell; daughter, Pamela Bowman; son, Gary Bowman; grandsons, Jason Dyer and Jeremy Davis. She is survived by sister, Betty Ireland; daughters, Debbie Gregg, Becky Davis, Leslee Davis, Rhonda Russell and Jennifer (Kenneth) Ogle. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She grew up in Happy Valley, known to many as Tootie. She devoted her life to the care of her family and loved to dote on her many grandchildren that affectionately refer to her as Deedee. You could find her tending to one of her many flowers or watching the wildlife from her front porch. She was blessed to remain sharp as a tack all 91 years of her life and used her talents to entertain her family with antics and disarming charm. There are no words to describe the void her absence brings. We take comfort in knowing she is surrounded by family in her new home and body with Christ. Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
