Grace L. Talbott

Grace L. "Corky" Talbott 83, Mooresville, passed away on December 25, 2012; she was born August 4, 1929 to the late Harold Downey and Ruth Bauer Downey. She married A.E. "Jack" Talbott, Sr. In 1951 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 1996. She was a former member of the Mooresville/Plainfield/Martinsville Civil Air Patrol. She graduated from Sacred Heart grade school in 1943 and St. Mary Academy in 1947. She went directly to work for Indiana Bell, retiring in 1985. Corky loved fishing, playing cards, crossword puzzles and planting flowers. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Henry and Martha Bauer, Uncle Irvin Bauer, Aunt Irene Pierson and Sister Margie Lee. Also namesake Aunt Grace Bauer Gibson. She is survived by her son Jack Talbott, Jr. (Kathy), Sister Jackie Mouser (husband Bob is deceased), granddaughters Johanna Bastin (Dewey) and Katrina Kimbler Church, Grandson Johnny Kimbler, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Barbara Beaton (husband Roy is deceased). Calling hours will take place from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Sunday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Southport Chapel, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
