Gracie A. Smith (Tweedy), a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on October 17, 1951 Gracie was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
She embraced life with joy and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Gracie is survived by her devoted husband Ozell B. Smith and children LaTanya Smith Wingate and Lazell (Nikki) Smith. She is also survived by siblings Barbra Jefferson, Joyce Smith, and Patricia Simms and a host of nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
Gracie’s visitation will be held on October 5th, 2024 from 5pm -7pm at 220 Breezewood Drive Lynchburg, Virginia 24502.
A celebration of her life will be held on October 6th, 2024 at 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, Virginia 24502 at 3 P.M. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever and always.
