Graciela (Grace) Santos Oliva March 1, 1925 to July 30, 2023
On July 30,2023 God called our mother home. We thank Him for allowing us to have our mother for the years we were so blessed.
Grace grew up in Laredo, Texas and graduated from San Martin High School where she was voted School Beauty Queen. She married Jose T. Oliva and was blessed with 4 children. She loved her family and embodied love, compassion, ethics, and unwavering commitment to her loved ones. They moved to El Paso in 1962 where she raised her children. A loving mother and great business partner. She was instrumental in developing 3 successful businesses, including The Grace Apartments, which she co-owned. Above all she embodied gratitude and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ and to the Holy Family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jose T. Oliva, parents Francisco Santos Sanchez and Ramoncita Salinas de Santos, son Javier H. Oliva, and grandson Christian Oliva.
She is survived by her sister Ms. Emma Mejia of San Antonio, three sons Rene (Dalila) of Odessa, Joe, and Luis (Lori), grandchildren Lydia, Aerlea and her great grandchildren Trent and Cypress.
