Grady Gaines is one of the reasons I would sneak out of the house with a girlfriend's I.D. (making me 2 years older) & go to the National Guard Armory to the dances when I was 14. Ike & Tina, Bobby Bland, all the blues greats! This music has stayed in my heart forever.

I enjoyed my younger years playing Bass with Grady. Now he is playing with the big band in Heaven!
