Grady Carl Thomas, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Mr. Thomas was born on January 10, 1960, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Rip and Aline Mizell Thomas. He worked in landscaping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jermone Pruitt, and grandmother Ruby Mizell.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Thomas, Cleveland; sister, Marlaner Trammel (Melvin); brothers, Terrance Wilson (Andrea), Dale Pruitt, Garnett Powell, Tony Thomas; sister-in-law, Bonnie Pruitt; beloved stepson, Craig Trammel; uncle, Charles Mizell; brothers-in-law, Fred Dorsey (Winfred), Sheldon Dorsey (Pamela); a host of nieces and nephews, and dearest friend, Jerry Richardson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 15, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bryan Sutton and Rev. James Singleton will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
