Graham Phelps Miles

Graham was wrapping up his career teaching at Tappan Middle School as I was beginning my time there. I remember him as energetic and funny. He could really light up the place.... literally- as he did many Physical Science demonstrations involving flames. He inspired many students and staff too. You are fondly remembered Graham.

Graham has been a dear friend to me and to Woody for almost forty years. He was my mentor and colleague for many years. I could go to him with any problem or for advice or guidance. He was a wonderful person and did so much for the science department at Tappan like making cabinets for equipment and fixing everything undertake sun. He was a very much loved person and we will miss him very much.

Graham was a very kind man with a gentle soul. I enjoyed talking to Graham. My condolences to the family.

Graham Miles was a gentle, effective educator who was well liked by students and colleagues
alike. He had a quiet but sharp sense of humor. He and my late husband Phil were great friends.

Graham was a kind ,gentle soul, a man of integrity and an outstanding educator! He was inspiring and a most helpful colleague. Rest in peace Graham . You will be missed !

Graham and I were science colleagues for many years. He was one of the most wonderful, inspiring person I ever met. It made my time at Tappan memorable. Of course, we cannot forget his rolls. Rest in peace my friend.
