A memorial service for Gregory Lowry is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ardmore, with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.

Gregory Michael Lowry was born on September 29, 2009, to Heather Lowry in Richmond, Texas, and was later adopted by Nathon Lowry. He passed from this life on January 3, 2026, at the young age of 16.

Greg was a sophomore at Dickson High School, where he participated in cross country, track, and basketball. He especially loved cross country, running five miles each day. He enjoyed his time working at Qdoba, where he had been employed for the past two years. In his free time, Greg enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering at the Food Resource Center. He had many friends and was always inviting them to church. Greg was active in church activities, including summer camp and a mission trip to South Texas.

Greg was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeff Phillippe; great-grandfathers, Ray Phillippe and Henry Martinez; great-grandmother, Shirley Kelly; uncle, Mark Martinez; and aunt, Becky Martinez.

He is survived by his parents, Heather and Nathon Lowry; brothers, Joseph Lowry, Nicholas Lowry, and Liam Lowry; sisters, Lexie Lowry and Lacey Lowry; his girlfriend, Audrey Peters, and her parents, Chris Peters and Shellie Lane; grandmother, Diane Phillippe; great-grandmother, Brenda Phillippe; grandfather, Silberio Martinez; great-grandparents, Bob and Andi Powers; uncles, Joe Jones, Jeff Phillippe, and Sean Phillippe and his wife Kelly; aunts, Catherine Kovarcik and her husband Cory, Janelle Bauer and husband JIm; uncle Terry Smith and his wife Kim; cousins Leanna Green, Bryce Kovarcik, Stephnie Green, Brodie Phillippe, Brayleigh Phillippe, Axyl Kovarcik, Bailey Wilganowski, Caitlin Jones, JoAnna Tomko and Christopher Phillippe along with a host of additional aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Resource Center in honor of Greg.
