Visitation for Greg Mitchell, age 71 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held from 6:00 to 8:00P.M. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Mitchell passed away on July 5, 2023 at his residence.
Greg was born on August 21, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Bobby and Verna “Pinky” (Raley) Mitchell. He married Janet Gowin on January 1, 1972 in Emory, Texas. He retired from Verizon Telephone Co as an engineer.
He is survived by his son Dan Mitchell; grandchildren, Dillon Mitchell and Dalton Mitchell; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Mitchell, Kaycee Mitchell and Emry Mitchell; sisters, Dana Wilhite and Tena Wilkes; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
