Gregory "Greg" Paul O'Neil of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 74.

Greg graduated Chattanooga High School in 1969, then attended Trinidad State College for gunsmithing before opening his own gunsmithing practice in Chattanooga. He continued to run the family fiberglass business, Kick-Shaw Inc, until closing in 2017. Greg was a voracious reader and had many varied interests including: target shooting, hot rods, and motorcycles. He was an active lifetime member of the Chattanooga Rifle Club and member of Scenic City Street Machines. Greg made many close friends through his hobbies, and influenced many others through supporting his children's interests such as coaching little league baseball.

Greg leaves behind his beloved spouse of 53 years, Regenia O'Neil; two children, Ryan O'Neil (Kathryn) and Jennifer O'Neil Hoddinott (Simon); and three treasured granddaughters: Hannah Hoddinott, Ellie Hoddinott, and Riley O'Neil. He is also survived by his brother, Mike O'Neil (Karla) and sister, Susan O'Neil (Carol Goss).

Greg was a wonderful father, grandfather/"Pop Pop", and friend. His happiest moments were the ones spent with family, especially his granddaughters. Greg's memory will continue to inspire and his legacy will live on through the lives of his family and the many people he touched.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Leukemia Research Foundation (www.leukemiarf.org) or Toys For Tots (www.toysfortots.org) in Greg's memory.
