Gregg Louis Marshall

Gregg L. Marshall, age 72, passed away at home on April 30, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 3, 1951 in Salisbury, MD to the late Garland and Theresa Marshall, Gregg graduated from Wicomico High School. Throughout high school, Gregg worked with his grandfather at Wango Metal Craft, buying the business in 1973. He owned and operated Wango Metal Craft for 50 years and worked daily until his passing. Starting as a blacksmith shop, he quickly grew the business to include anything from ocean rigging to restoration of classic vehicles and collision repair. Gregg was known for his love of vintage cars (especially corvettes), motorcycles, and boats.
Survivors include his children, Katharine (Joe), and Spencer; grandchildren whom he adored, Emerson and Brooks; mother, Theresa; and brother, Leslie (Lou). Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Garland Marshall.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hammond Cemetery at 32176 Mt. Hermon Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804.
A celebration of life will be held at Powellville Volunteer Fire Department following the graveside service. As there is limited space at the cemetery, please feel free to join the family at the celebration of life if you are unable to attend the graveside service.
