Gregg James Terhune passed away on September 5, 2025, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, at the age of 69. Born on December 24, 1955 in Cleveland Ohio, Gregg lived a life of deep connections to family, nature, and his community. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting and sailing.

A 1973 graduate of Orange High School in Pepper Pike ,Ohio. Gregg went on to earn his Business degree from Colorado State at Fort Collins in 1977. His professional journey began at Diamond Shamrock in Cleveland and later transitioned into the financial sector with wealth management positions at Morgan Stanley/ Dean Witter and Reed Financial. Throughout his career, Gregg was known for his dedication and professionalism.

He was deeply connected to those around him and maintained several long standing relationships within the community and these relationships brought him support in the difficult times throughout his life.

Gregg is preceded in death by his father John Robert Terhune . He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Betty Bedell Terhune of Chagrin Falls; daughters Brittany Terhune Giroux (James ) Grandchildren Genevieve and Felix, and Dr. Bailey Terhune Burnett (Robert) granddaughter Josephine. His siblings: Jeffrey Terhune (Julie), Scott Terhune (Sindy), Beth Pike (Ken) and Mark Terhune (Jackie).

He also leaves behind nephews; Tyler Terhune (Lauren), Daniel Terhune (Noel), Nate Terhune (Kylie), Kenny Pike (Summer). Nieces; Ashleigh Pike, Kelsey Bivenour (Greer). Additionally, Gregg also has nine great nephews and one great niece as well as many cousins across the US.

Gregg's legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and with family who cherished and stood beside him in all the seasons of his life. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at a later date in the Spring of 2026. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy in Gregg's name, 3850 Chagrin River Rd. Moreland Hills, Ohio 44022.
