Gregoria Coronado, 98, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on August 30, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on May 25, 1927, in Knippa, Texas to Felicitas (Uriegas) and Senobio Benitez.
She is survived by her daughter, Florence Vera and husband, Juan of Uvalde; two sons, Alex Coronado and companion, Sylvia Fernandez of Uvalde and Telesforo “TC” Coronado and wife, Yovanca of San Angelo; sister, Elida Quiroz of Knippa; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Telesforo I. Coronado; son, Johnny Coronado; and granddaughter, Naomi Mason.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Monday, September 8, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at Knippa Cemetery.
