Gregory Bennin Obituary
Greg was born December 28, 1947, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Jerome "Jerry" and Violet "Vi" (Mikoliczak) Bennin. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
An avid outdoorsman, Greg found his greatest happiness in nature. Taught by his Grandpa Joe, he was a dedicated hunter and fisherman, often accompanied by his son Lance, his two best friends, Fred Flishman and Jim Knuston, and his many trusted hunting dogs. Whether in the woods, on the water, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the outdoors, Greg lived his life with a deep appreciation for the natural world around him. He loved being surrounded by friends and laughter.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; his son, Lance (Cheryle) Bennin; daughter, Bonita Ibarra; and his cherished grandchildren, Natasha Bubolz, Monica Ibarra, Kyle Bennin, Landon Heling, Lyndsey Heling, and Broden Bennin; and four great grandchildren who brought Greg endless joy. He is further survived by many extended family members and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents; grandpa, Joe; and brothers, Andy Bennin and Larry Bennin.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Gregory J. Bennin will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Bennin Residence, 14231 Bloom Road, Gillett.
