My condolences to Greg's family. I worked with Greg at NYS Higher Education in the 1990's and what fun he was to work with. After I left working for the State we continued to stay in touch I last saw Greg in either 2003 or 2004 then we lost touch. The last day I saw him we had went out to lunch and then went on a bike ride at the Crossings. What I remember about Greg is I loved his funny take on things, him liking to eat bland food like plain pancakes and plain bologna sandwiches. He was a joy to be around. I was always laughing when I was with him. The day of his passing oddly I had driven past the Crossings on my lunch hour and had remembered our bike ride and was going to try and find him online and reach out to him but I never got the chance. God speed my friend I will truly miss you.

Tina, Ashley and family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Greg's death. Greg was my supervisor in 2001 at OSC and he was a very nice and gregarious person who lit up the room with his conversations, stories, wit and humor. He was almost always in a happy and carefree mood in my presence and was fun to work with and talk to. When he left my office, I would see him on numerous occasions in downtown Albany at lunch or a break and of course he would often be smoking a big cigar with friends but always stopped to give me and others his time. Greg was well liked at work and I'll miss our occasional meetings. The last time I saw him was two years ago at a restaurant and we caught up on things. Please accept most sincere condolences from me and his colleagues at OSC.
