I´m so sorry for this lose. I didn´t know him well outside of work, but he always made all of us smile and that´s what I´ll remember him by.

Greg was one of the first friends I´ve ever made when I joined the military 10 years ago. He and I became part of a 5-6 person close-knit friend group. He and I both moved to the same neighborhood and didn´t even realize it until we saw each other walking our dogs. We made it a point to bring our dogs out each day at the same time, only to bring them back inside after a very specific choice of words by Greg, "These mosquitos is tweakin." He has always been such a good person, a positive personality and a loyal friend. Greg will always be regarded as one of the highest regarded people I´ve ever come across in my life. I thank him for his friendship and I apologize for all the plans we made that fell through for one reason or another.

I just want to first and foremost offer my deepest condolences to the Bruington family, extended family, friends, and anyone impacted by Greg in his precious time on this Earth. I ask that Allah place his hands over everyone during this difficult time of mourning, healing, and reflection, and offer solace to assuage any grief that is more than one can bear.
Greg, bro, no amount of words can express the pain of hearing of your passing. We may not have kept in close contact everyday, but it´s all love no matter the distance or time elapsed. My heart is heavy typing this one dawg. I´m here to just say thank you for the laughs, all of the memories, and being unapologetically you. Here is to always putting your best foot forward, to all the time spent with the bros in the unit, to you taking a leap and stepping into the fashion/art scene and following your dreams in the face of adversity. I want you to know that we appreciate you, celebrate you, salute you, and love you forever dawg. We are going to miss you like you know what bro, and know that your name will live on through the hearts and minds of all who knew you and were blessed by your presence this lifetime. You can believe that.
Rest up King.
