Gregory Nicholas Constantine Paleologos, 58, of Mt. Ulla, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home.
He was born on June 28, 1964 in Manhattan, NY to Nellie Pinkham Paleologos and the late Nicholas Paleologos, Sr.
He was educated in the Salisbury city schools and attended Salisbury High school. Gregory worked at PGI Polymer and retired. He enjoyed his days taking care of his granddaughter, Emma, gardening, spending time at the beach with his wife Sheila, Hali, and Jake, sharing meals and holidays with his extended family, and helping the Corrihers on the farm. Gregory was very proud of his Greek heritage.
In addition to his father, Gregory was preceded in death by his Auntie Leona Carlton; his maternal grandparents Edward and Lois Pinkham; his paternal grandparents Haralambos and Anastasia Paleologos.
Gregory is survived by his wife, Sheila Orbison Paleologos; his daughter, Hali Paleologos Warner (Jacob) of Rockwell; his granddaughter, Emma Marie Warner; his mother, Nellie Lois Pinkham of Rockwell; sister Anna-Maria Paleologos Rose of Virginia; sister Kaloni Paleologos Brincefield (James) of Salisbury; brother Nicholas Paleologos, Jr. of Florida. Nieces and nephews Aaron, Zach (Carly), Sara (Michael), Carrie (George), Nick (Desiree), David, and Fallon. Several great nieces and nephews in the US and Greece.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 22, 2023 at Living Waters Church of God, in Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be at 11:00am and the service will be at 12:00pm.
