Gregory Eugene Cormany, 73, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center.
Greg was born on Wednesday, October 11,1950 in Sioux City to the late Charles and Lucille (Frazier) Cormany.
He graduated Central High School in 1968 before joining the army where he served and fought for our country in both the Vietnam and Korean War.
On Friday, December 9, 1983, Greg married the love of his life, Shirley Hunt.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley; sisters, Jackie (Barry) Murtha of Kansas City, MO and Patty Myers of Le Mars, IA;
daughter, Christina (David) Washington; grandchildren, Aiden, Peyton and Charlie of Sioux City.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Earl Myers.
