Gregory Michael Cozort, Jr. of Greenville, passed away the evening of April 8, 2023, with the cause of death pending the autopsy. Greg was born September 25, 1971 to Gregory Michael, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Wireman) Cozort. Greg was a wonderful man with a kind soul, huge heart and a stunning personality. In his younger years Greg attended Central Montcalm High School. He was a high school heartthrob that was known for his personality and making people laugh. He graduated in 1988. Greg was an avid tattoo artist, that was well known in the community for his creativity, welcome embrace, his witty words and his ability to charm anyone with his contagious smile. Greg was predeceased by his father Gregory Michael Cozort, Sr., his sister Trista Michelle Cozort and grandmother Myrtle Wireman. He is survived by his children Sabastian Cozort, Desire Wyatt, Raven Williams, Atom Cozort, Issac Cozort, Ian Bowers and Camron Green. Alongside his children, he is survived by his grandchildren, Damien Denton, Halo Cozort, Ava Cully, Gwendolyn Cully, Westin Culley, Saphira Cozort, Scarlitt Cozart, Rebekah Skylynne, Alarric and a few others who wish to remain anonymous. Greg is also survived b his mother Patricia Ann Cozort, through his brothers Joseph Cozort and children Larz, Lucas, Monika, alexis, Victoria, Autumn and Jenikka, brother Benjamin Cozort, brother Brian Cozort and wife Shelby and daughter Piperlynn Cozort, his sister Liesza Norton and her husband Jim Norton, nephew Kagen Bordeleau, the son of Greg’s late sister Trista, brother Jeffrey Hahler and sisters Patricia Barmore (Cozort) and Laurell Musser. Greg had an army of family that stood behind him in life and are grieving in his absence. They are finding joy and comfort in his loving memories, Greg’s family invite all those who knew him to celebrate his life at the Greenville Community church, Saturday, April 22 at 1 PM with a luncheon to follow the ceremony. The family is asking to please bring a dish to pass and a story to share. Drinks will be provided. Arrangements are by the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with complete obituary online at www.marshallfuneralhomeinc.com where you can leave a message of condolence for the family.
