Gregory Scott Cribb, 63, of Albany, GA., died Monday, January 12, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Bice will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Greg was born in Olathe, Kansas to James and Betty Cribb. He enjoyed sports and played basketball while in school. Greg also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a comedian and always enjoyed making people laugh. Greg had the opportunity to act in some movies, but decided that life was not for him. More than all of this he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Greg was a self-employed freight broker for several years and worked several other occupations throughout his career. After the death of his father, Greg took care of his mother.
Survivors include his daughter, Katie Cribb Paul, his son, Nick Cribb (Christina), his mother Betty Cribb, his grandchildren, Gabriel Paul, Baylie Cribb, Bentlee Cribb and Eason Cribb, his brothers, Richard Cribb and Kenny Cribb (Kim) and close friends Blake Thomas, Scott Snellgrove, Keith Wingate and Jaborree Riggins.
