Gregory W. Forsberg

Gregory William Forsberg, 69 years old, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 in St. Joseph Regional Med Center, Mishawaka, peacefully, surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 25, 1952 to the late Edward and Phyllis (Danielowicz) Forsberg in South Bend. He was also preceded in death by his brother Bradford.
Greg is survived by 4 children Stephen, Tim, Lindsay, and Josh, two sisters Charisse (Bill) Prasalowicz and Lucielle (Jon) Klaudusz, a brother Brian (Susan) Forsberg, nieces and nephews Stephanie Iacobucci, Bjorn Forsberg, Zachary (Christina) Klaudusz and Evan Klaudusz, great-niece and nephew Madelyn and Maximus.
He attended Riley High School and proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany for 2 tours of service. He was formerly employed at Curtis Products and Sturgis Iron & Metal.
Greg, "Opie" as he was known to friends, enjoyed playing cards, catching up with friends and family, sitting by the fire, listening to music and taking care of the many cats he had over the years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
