"A gentleman is one who puts more into the world than he takes out." Gregg was a true gentleman. His work ethic was exemplary, and Gregg always found time to share a moment, a thought or just friendly conversation. To Cyndi and the family: know that Gregg was and will be remembered as "One of the Good Guys," and that he touched many souls in a positive way on his journey on earth. Brother, may you rest in Peace.

Greg was a very good man. I recall he backed me and my partner up on a robbery investigatiin. He and his paetner helped wrestle the suspect to the ground. Rest In Peace my friend.

Greg was my first supervisor when I went into the detective bureau. I remember him always being a mild even tempered police officer. At the time I arrived in the detective bureau Greg was preparing for retirement. He actually purchased a large camper in preparation to get out of dodge! I always remember being invited to his home one Christmas with some of the guys and wives. Upon leaving he gave each of us a card with a Christmas nail and the story about it. So every Christmas, when I decorate my tree, I think of Greg and his wife.

There are so many memories of Cyndi and Gregg..The way we met, because of Smoke Stack...All the campfires we shared over the years, and the wonderful conversations and jokes listening to the ocean and wind blowing through the Palmettos on 16...The time Gregg baked us all a mouthwatering Cobbler to share around the campfire..These memories and so many more, too numerous to count live on in our hearts forever..We love you, Gregg..You were one in a million..

Greg and I were children of the generation of the Roy Rogers TV show and we heard the theme song "Happy Trails" every episode. To most, it was just a theme song, to Greg it became his motto! Just his daily commute to the police station was a longer trail than most would endure. Repeated trips to Prince Edward Island, camping all across the country, kayaking, bicycling, always more trails.
Somehow Greg was able to fit in a long successful career as an Officer with the Hamilton Township (NJ) Police Dept. retiring as a Detective Sergeant. Unfortunately for Greg, because of his personality, demeanor, training, and skill, he came to be the "go to" investigator to handle some of the worst crimes committed against innocent children.
You earned a rest my police brother. Happy Trails

Gregg and Cyndi had a Love i can't describe, a Love everyone wants and dreams of. I will miss walking over and hearing them giggling like teenagers, watching the birds working in the yard, coming around the corner on the Busy Bee as they called it. (The lawn mower) my granddaughter Izabel waited patiently for Mr.Gregg to come around the corner daily just to wave little did we know Sunday it would be a wave goodbye. He made his home a paradise for Cyndi and himself. I know he is in a bigger Paradise now. I can only imagine!!! Thank you for always making me feel welcome. You will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.
