On the evening of May 19, 2023, Gregory "Greg" Mitchell Heck passed away at his home in
Oak Ridge, NC. Greg was 58 years old.
Greg was born in
Libertyville, IL to Carl and Ellen in March 1965. Greg spent most of his career working in Aviation in Wisconsin and later in North Carolina.
In addition to aviation, Greg was an avid car lover and a family man. He was often referred to as Mayor, by his tight-knit community in Oak Ridge. He is survived by his wife Theresa, his sons Carl and Joey, and his 3 grandchildren Zoey, Ellie, and Isla.
The family plans to host a memorial of their own that will be announced at a later date.
