Gregory William Kluba, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 1, 2025. Greg was born July 17, 1950, the son of the late George and Olive (Miller) Kluba. After his 1968 graduation from Appleton West, he joined the US Navy to serve in the Vietnam War where he was honorably discharged in October of 1974.
He married the love of his life, Rosemary Marshall, in Chicago on May 3, 1985. They moved a lot while Greg worked for K-Mart, until his retirement in 2005. Rosemary preceded him in death in 2011. On July 24, 2015, Greg participated in a Vietnam Veteran Old Glory Honor Flight. During his retirement he got bored and started volunteering at the Performing Arts Center, Appleton, and as a Big Brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
He had a passion for food and watching cooking shows. Over the years he enjoyed gardening and boutique shopping. Greg will be remembered most for his sense of humor, being outgoing and outspoken, and for being a great brother.
Greg is survived by his 4 sisters: Georgia Dryer, Paula VanStippen, Genia (Brian) Kendall, and Kim (Rick) Cross; goddaughter: Heather; 11 nieces and nephews;15 great nieces and great nephews; 8 great great nieces and great great nephews with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a brother: Steve; a sister: Sandra; brothers-in-law: Jock and Jerry; and a great nephew: Chance.
Per Greg’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. He will be laid to rest privately with his wife Rosemary. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
Greg’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Greg’s friend and neighbor, Debbie Depner for all her help throughout the years; Susan Baharami for the haircuts, visits, and goodies; Georgia for being his taxi; his niece, Kayla Tegen, for taking care of him and lifting his spirits with every visit; and Rick and Kim for always being there for Greg.
