Greg was born on November 5th, 1955, in Abilene Texas, to Hershel and Juanita Perkins. Greg was a member and greeter at Monterey Church of Christ. He worked with his father in the oil industry before moving to Lubbock to open his restaurant, "Bless Your Heart." In 2006, Greg sold his restaurant and purchased the Tipton Pet Hotel. Greg enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends, the California Wine Country, fast cars, classic music, and making friends with every person and dog he met.
Survivors include his sister, Connie of Austin, TX, and his son Grant of Denton, TX, nephew Jason, Nieces Leslie, along with numerous grand nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patti, and by his parents, Hershel and Juanita Perkins.
