In memory of
Brad Howort
September 12, 2016
Greg and I were friends from Wagner JHS and Stuyvesant. We spent many a day getting ourselves in trouble and being typical teenagers. RIP, Greg. Still can't believe you're gone.

I am so sorry about the loss of Mr. Richards and all 911 victims. I visited the memorial in 2014 and took some pictures and his name is one of the names in my picture. So I looked him up, out of respect, because everyone who lost their lives that day deserves to be remembered.

I babysat for Greg and his siblings a long time ago. He once locked us out of the house while his yunger brother and sister slept inside. When I tried to take the blame, he stood up and took his licks. Even as a young boy he showed glimpses of the man he would become. My prayers are with his family.

As I stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Greg Richards was a smart and astute businessman. I am pleased to have known him and learn from him. He was always generous and kind in his dealings and yes, he was very cool. I know he loved his wife very much, he talked about her.

Although, i did not know Gregory, I do know his mom. She is a classy "city slicker'. I have grown to be friends with her and often hear stories of joy about Asher.....it is those moments that i know Greg's spirit is alive and brings his mom much joy. I know all your family misses you and I pray that you are at peace.

Seeing Gregory's huge warm smile in his picture made me smile so he is still affecting people's lives in a posititve way. He must have been a wonderfully happy person with a smile like that. We are very sorry for your loss of Gregory. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
