Brandon Rowland, age 42, a resident of
Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Monday, December 04, 2023, in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son and brother, and a dear friend to many. His departure has left an irreplaceable void, and while we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.
Brandon was born November 20, 1981, in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Gregory and Paula (Coffman) Rowland. Brandon married the love of his life, Brooke Ashley King in July of 2008, in the Bahamas. He will be dearly missed by his wife Brooke; children Charlie Rowland and Hank Rowland; parents Paula and Greg Rowland; brother Jason Rowland and wife Sara; nephews Harrison and Jack Rowland; grandmother Joyce Rowland; mother-in-law Nedra Mann and husband Lance; grandparents-in-law Dub and Karen Jester; and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by grandfather Howard Rowland and grandparents Chris and Ralph Coffman.
Brandon was a man of many talents and passions. Graduating from Bixby High School in 2000, he went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in journalism and marketing. He made a lasting impact on his colleagues as he progressed throughout his professional career including his work with the Tulsa World, PennWell Corporation, and most recently with the non-profit organization Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Brandon enjoyed music, movies, reading, spending time with family and friends, and OU football. He was a master of wit with legendary clever comebacks and funny anecdotes for every conversation.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Bethany Freewill Baptist Church, 100 North Olive in
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
While we mourn the loss of Brandon, we also find comfort in the memories of his laughter, his witty remarks, and funny stories that will forever echo in our hearts.
