Gregory Smith Obituary
Gregory Darnell Smith, 57, born on February 13, 1967, in Aberdeen - Monroe County - Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Mississippi. He is survived by his daughter Shawanda Lenet Peterson and his brothers Jacob Smith, Joseph Smith, Cecil Smith, and Raymond Earl Smith. Gregory is also survived by his sisters Bettie Wyatt, Earnestine Walker, and Gloria Thomas.
Gregory was the beloved son of the late, James Wilson Smith and Ruthie Lee Harrison. He was known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. Gregory will be deeply by all who knew him.
The visitation to honor Gregory's life will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Mississippi. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Hamilton, Mississippi.
During this time of grieving and remembrance, let us hold dear the memories we shared with Gregory and find solace in the impact he had on each of our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
