Gregory Stanton Obituary
Gregory Harry Stanton, 73, of San Antonio, Texas, went to eternal peace on December 19th, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on September 8, 1952 in Dowagiac, Michigan.
Greg attended Dowagiac Union High School and graduated in 1970. He joined the Navy and served on the USS Harry E. Yarnell from May 1, 1971 - September 1, 1972. He married his loving wife Kathleen Maureen Gramm on August 16, 1975 and they resided in Niles, Michigan for many years. Greg and his family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1983. He continued to work for the government for the Department of Labor. He enjoyed watching documentaries about the military, visiting naval museums and ships, and took an interest in science fiction and technology. He retired in San Antonio, Texas.
Gregory is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Pete) Morin (grandchildren Pete, Ali and Jacob) and son Timothy (Jynelle) Stanton (grandchildren Robert and Ava). He is also survived by his loving sister, Marlene (the late Terry) Deming and his niece Lori Deming-Moore (Brock) and nephew John Deming (Shilohe). He was preceded in death by his father Harry David Stanton and mother June Olive Stanton (nee Smith) and wife Kathleen Maureen Stanton (nee Gramm).
