When I was leaving Ohio and moving to Los Angeles Uncle Greg believed in my dreams more than I did. His unwavering confidence in me made me think that maybe he was into something. If he knew I could do it, I must be able to do it. On every occasion he always brought such joy. Uncle Greg you are missed.

One of the things I loved most about Greg during Leadership Geauga, and the few times we ran into each other after graduation, was how he made me feel - very comfortable and seen. I think it's important that we tell people how much we love them, and Greg was forthright with letting me know he cared. His company felt meaningful and his warmth felt truly genuine. Reading this lovely tribute to his life, now I see why we perhaps became some easy friends - he was, deep down, still a band geek like me! :) Greg Tarr, you will always hold a special place in my heart. And Debbie and family, I am so sorry for your sudden loss. You have been, and will continue to be, in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear about Greg. He was my second cousin, my age. My mom, Mary, and Thelma were close cousins. I have fond memories growing up with Thelma and John’s 4 children. Take care.

Sorry to hear of Greg's passing. He was always willing to lend an ear and have great discussion on any subject. His business "Chow Down" was renowned in the area and enjoyed by many. He will truly be missed.
