Greg "V" or "Vandy" Vanderwilt, 54, formally of Mankato, MN, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at his home in Spring Park, Minnesota, surrounded by his loving family. Greg was the devoted husband of Lisa Vanderwilt and proud father of Reese Vanderwilt.

Greg was born January 28, 1972, in Mankato, MN to Robert and Jane Vanderwilt. Greg graduated from Mankato West High School in 1990, after High School he attended the University of Minnesota and Mankato State University-Mankato where he earned his Business Degree. He began an internship with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1996. He was hired by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1997 and held several different job titles for almost 30 years of employment with the organization.

Greg was known for his big personality and unwavering dedication to those he knew and loved. Greg had many passions, including being an avid professional sports fan (most notably the Wolves & Vikings), traveling the world with his family, playing pool and listening to music, boating on Lake Minnetonka, including "84' leaps" with Reese. No matter what he was doing or where he was going, he touched many hearts along the way. Greg was considered a mentor, beloved friend, a wonderful boss, and an amazing co-worker by those who worked with him.

Greg's legacy of laughter, loyalty and love will be carried on by those who knew and adored him. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Vanderwilt, and son, Reese Vanderwilt, of Spring Park, MN, his father, Robert Vanderwilt, of Fort Myers, FL, his mother, Jane Vanderwilt (John Pytleski), of Eden Prairie, MN, his brother, Mark Vanderwilt (Michal Vanderwilt), of Janesville, MN, a niece and two nephews and many extended friends and family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, A.W. & Helen Vanderwilt of Spencer, IA and Jack & Bernice Narland of Davenport, IA. Uncle William Vanderwilt and Aunt Carrie Geczy.
