Greg is my nephew. He holds a special place in the hearts of myself, his Aunt Tina and my three children; his cousins who are all about the same age as Greg. As we mourn his passing, we all say the same things. How intelligent Greg was, but mostly remember his kindness, his laughter, and his big presence. We´ve been shedding many tears, but not just tears of sadness. Tears of joy for having each of our lives enriched by having Greg in our lives. He was one in a million.

Greg was a good friend and colleague and I enjoyed the time he and I spent together in Chicago at Boeing. I always especially enjoyed our ongoing debate about whether the Mets or the Braves would be the better team in the coming season. My thoughts and prayers are with the Vogelsperger family.

Greg was a treasured colleague and friend, and was admired and respected by all of us who worked with him and knew him. In the many challenging situations we confronted together over the last decade-plus, he never failed to maintain his composure and good humor, and stood out for his leadership even among a group of talented lawyers and leaders. Greg made a major impact on me personally, and I know I speak for all of us the Boeing Law Department when I say that he will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. I am so sorry for your loss.

Knew him only briefly and a little (not much), via the Ray Garrett Institute at Northwestern University. But I affirm that Gregory Vogelsperger was a gentleman and a scholar -- a lawyer's lawyer. A credit to the University of Chicago Law School, may he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family. -- Patrick Daugherty

So saddened to hear this news. I have such fond memories of Greg from our college years. He was kind, charming, funny and so smart! Some of my favorite memories of him that still make me smile are the attached pictures. Sending peace and strength to his family,

I remember Greg as a very intelligent and engaged student of history at Holy Cross. I remember him too as a gentleman. I didn't know he had such a distinguished career. I'm so sorry for his early loss. If my memory can be trusted, I think I also remember you, Terri, and that you were also an excellent student. My condolences to you and your family. -Prof. Noel Cary
