ERWIN - Gregory Randall Willis Sr., 60, of Erwin passed away on December 16th, 2025 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born to the late Clifford and Mary Willis in Erwin, TN. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Williams.

Greg was a kind and loving man. He was a member at Chestoa Baptist Church and enjoyed attending before his illness. He had worked with cars his whole life. He had a passion for anything with four wheels and an engine. He had been employed at Morrell Motors for 26 years as well as Borla Motors for 8 years. He enjoyed music and working on cars but he was always happy when he was able to spend time with his wife and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Cindy Willis; a son, Randall Willis Jr. (Nicole); Randall's sister, Aren Renea Rice; two step sons, Jonathan Grindstaff (Jessica) and Caleb Grindstaff (Angel); a granddaughter, Skylar Willis; three step grandchildren, Emily Grindstaff, Lukas Grindstaff, and Elias Grindstaff; two sisters, Mary Gail Crawford (Jim) and Carolyn Sparks (Johnny); a brother, Howard Willis (Mary) as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org in Greg's name.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Sycamore Shoals Hospital; Dr. Shams; and the staff at Holston Valley Medical Center for their kindness and loving care during Greg's time with them. Especially, nurses Amara Kincaid (RN) and Brion Blankenship (RN)

A graveside service to honor Greg's memory will be held on Friday January 2nd at 1 pm with Noah Taylor officiating in Evergreen Cemetery. Those that would like to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50.
