Greta was raised in Mount, Airy, Georgia. She attended Habersham Central High School and she was a Manager for Quality Inn in Toccoa. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Beth Batson, grandmother, Leeola Smith Worley, brother, James Jody Loudermilk and sister, Stephanie Welch.
Survivors include her mother and father, Linda and James Loudermilk of Toccoa, husband, Thomas Larry Shackelford, daughters, Kylee and Kailynn Shackelford, grandson, A.T. Shackelford all of Toccoa; sisters, Kandy Dill of Demorest, Lana Rice of Toccoa, Tonya Bennett of Homer and Brandy Handberry of Toccoa; brother, Steven Welch of Toccoa; cousin, Christy Dooley of Toccoa.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, 2 pm at Tugalo Baptist Church, E. Silver Shoals Road, Toccoa. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
