He was born January 17, 1949, in Bath County, Virginia, the son of the late Alden Harrison Hicklin, Sr. and Eva Harnsbarger Hicklin.
Mr. Hicklin was a farmer who enjoyed gardening and cracking walnuts. He loved the outdoors and was an avid trout fisherman. He was a member of Woodland Union Church.
He is survived by a brother, Alden "Dean" Harrison Hicklin, Jr. & wife Kay of Millboro; a niece, Katie Hicklin Luyster and husband J.R. of Charleston, West Virginia; a nephew, Sean Hicklin & wife Sabrina of Millboro.
There will be no funeral service at this time.
