Greyson Luyando

SEYMOUR - Greyson John Luyando, age 12 of Seymour, cherished son of John and Courtney (Bittner) Luyando, entered peaceful rest on Monday, May 26, 2025 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Haven on August 13, 2012, he was a current student at Seymour Middle School where he made lasting friendships with both faculty and his fellow classmates.
Greyson was full of energy and had a passion for playing his favorite sport, basketball. He enjoyed video games and loved sneakers. Greyson was strong, brave, had a great sense of humor and a smile that could light up a room. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who touched the heart of everyone he knew.
In addition to his parents, John and Courtney, Greyson is survived by his loving sister, Adyson Luyando of Seymour; paternal grandparents, John and Katie Hultgren of Shelton; maternal grandmother, Nancy Sloane of E. Haven; aunts and uncle, Jennifer Hultgren, and Scott Hultgren and his wife Eva, as well as many dear friends. Greyson was predeceased by his aunt, Ashley Bittner.
Relatives and friends can greet Greyson's family on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4pm to 6pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 with a Celebration of His Life taking place at 6pm in the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
