Grover Zebedee "Rusty" Williamson III age 70, of Green Sea, SC., died Wednesday January 7, 2026, in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC.
Born in Horry County, SC., he was the son of the late Grover Zebedee "Bud" Williamson II and Betty Canady Williamson.
He was the owner and operator of Rusty Williamson Stump Removal.
Rusty never met a stranger; his kind heart and outgoing personality made him many friends; many were blessed to call him their friend. He loved meeting new people & spending time with his friends and family.
Rusty was a loving husband, father, & grandfather.
One of his greatest joys was spending time & teaching his grandson about his business and how to do things.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Williamson of the home, two daughters, Jada Boyd (Clark) of Lebanon, TN. Kelli Stanberry (Cameron) of Hampton, TN., one stepdaughter, Dallas Lester (Bennie ) of Dillion, SC.
Five grandchildren, Ethan & Miranda Lester, Wilson & Blair Ellen Boyd, Maddie Stanberry, Aunts, Linda Long (Carl) of Whiteville, NC., Lula Mae Causey of Shallotte, NC., Phyllis Canady of Tabor City, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at 3:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Williamson Cemetery, Green Sea, SC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel and other times at his home.
