Marlin (Swede) Harold Erickson

Marlin is survived by his wife, Joy (Newkirk) oof Hampshire, by his son Matthew (Katherine) , step-grandchildren Elly and Karly of Davenport, IA. and sister-in- law April of Lehigh Acres, FL.
Marlin worked in Elgin at Illinois Department of Transportation as supervisor at the Material Lab for 37 years , retiring in 1992. After retiring, he was an avid traveler. He visited 40 countries before Covid hit in 2022. As a great photographer, he documented our travels and shared memories of our trips with friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held October 18th at First United Methodist Church on 207 Grove Ave, Hampshire by Pastor Kyu Kim.
