Guadalupe Mendez Obituary
Weslaco- Lupe "Neno" Mendez Jr, 56, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He was born on October 17, 1965 to Mr. Severo Tafolla and Mrs. Aurora Tafolla in Lubbock, Texas.
Mr. Mendez is preceded in death by his sister: Farrah Lynn Tafolla and his niece: Deborah Lynn Salinas; his grandparents: Mr. Jesus Tafolla and Mrs. Casimira Tafolla.
Left to cherish his memories is his daughters: Roxie (Jason Sanchez) Mendez, Amy (Jonathan Guerrero) Mendez, Dylinda (Daniel Arredondo) Mendez, Jazel Mendez; his son: Jacob Anthony Mendez; his parents: Mr. Severo Tafolla and Mrs. Aurora Tafolla; his brothers: Lee Mendez and Paul Mendez; his sisters: Linda Mendez (Joe) Salinas, Jacqueline (Juan) Rodriguez, Brenda Tafolla, Jaime Tafolla, Priscilla Tafolla; his grandchildren: Kendrick Garcia, Amberlynn Guerrero, Kendra Garcia, Evan Guerrero, Ayden Garcia, Matthew Arredondo, Analee Arredondo, Ava Sanchez, Esteban Arredondo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service both evenings at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Paul Mendez, Juan Rodriguez, Jason Sanchez, Bruce Mendez, Jeremiah Luke Salinas, Julio Jaramillo, Jonathan Ruiz, Joshua Rodriguez.
Funeral Services have been entrusted under the care of Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
