Guadalupe Trujillo Obituary
It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Lupe Trujillo at the age of 85. His departure leaves an unfulfillable void in our hearts.
Born on June 16th, 1940, to Jose and Bernie Trujillo in Las Vegas, NM. Lupe married his beloved wife Helen Trujillo in 1963, with whom he shared 3 loving children, Pat Trujillo, Antonio Trujillo, and Bernadette Trujillo.
In 1980, Lupe began his entrepreneurial journey, which he was very successful in and very proud of. He started by building his car wash and shortly after opened his laundromat and "Lupe's Lounge". He was a very smart businessman who gave great advice and could solve any problem that came his way. Lupe loved hunting, gambling, ranching, and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Bernie Trujillo, beloved daughter Bernadette Trujillo, and all of his siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Trujillo, and sons Pat and Antonio Trujillo. Grandchildren Pat Trujillo Jr., Josh Brito, Bernadette Trujillo, Jose Trujillo, Sabastian Trujillo, Austin Apodaca, and Shyann Vigil. Great-grandchildren Desiree Trujillo, Brayden, and Amaya Brito, Jane, Brenlee, Nevaeh, Kalena, and Xayden, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Rosary service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 7:00pm, funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:00pm both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Dennis Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow at Los Vigiles Cemetery in Los Vigiles, NM with the following serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Trujillo Jr., Josh Brito, Jose Trujillo, Sabastian Trujillo, Jason Griego, Austin Apodaca, and Ryan Melton.
