Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend
Guillermo Rogelio (Billy) Gomez passed away peacefully at the age of 78, surrounded by his children and family after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's dementia. He went into the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ on December 27, 2025.
Bill was born in El Rancho, New Mexico on December 6, 1947 to Manuel Gomez and Rosina (Gonzales) Gomez. He was greatly loved and respected by his entire family and by everyone he met. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was down-to-earth, and was always smiling and laughing. He helped anyone-family or stranger-with great love. We knew we could count on Dad for anything. He was extremely smart and loved fixing machines and anything he could. He had a strong love for his entire family and enjoyed sharing memories of his childhood, the band he was in, and the instruments he played with his beloved father Manuel. He cherished his brothers and sisters, adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he is deeply missed.

The services for Bill will take place in El Rancho, NM at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church on January 6th, 2026. The viewing will be held at 8AM-9AM, followed by the Rosary from 9AM-10AM, and finishing with the Funeral Mass and Burial. Pallbearers include: · Santiago Baum · Matthew Trice · Diego Sisneros · Dorrell Gomez · Benito Gomez · James Romero.
