Guillermo Antonio Villeda Alonzo, 71, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, Guillermo built a life filled with hard work, generosity, and love. He was the beloved husband of 36 years to Delfina Villeda, and the devoted father of Carmen Villeda, Guillermo Villeda Jr., and Christian Villeda. His warmth and kindness extended beyond his family to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Guillermo was a proud and dedicated employee of UPS, a job he loved and took great pride in—always recognized by his signature UPS hat. His caring spirit was also evident in the way he treated everyone with respect and in his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
He also shared a special bond with his feline companions—Puchis, Fancy, and Pepe—who brought him much comfort and joy.
Guillermo will be remembered for his big heart, unwavering kindness, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His legacy of generosity and devotion will continue to live on in those whose lives he touched.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, November 1st (time to be determined) in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.

Guillermo Antonio Villeda Alonzo, de 71 años, de Elizabeth, NJ, falleció pacíficamente el 20 de octubre de 2025, rodeado de su amorosa familia.
Nacido en Chichicastenango, Guatemala, Guillermo construyó una vida llena de trabajo arduo, generosidad y amor. Fue el amado esposo por 36 años de Delfina Villeda, y el devoto padre de Carmen Villeda, Guillermo Villeda Jr. y Christian Villeda. Su calidez y bondad se extendían más allá de su familia, llegando a todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo.
Guillermo fue un orgulloso y dedicado empleado de UPS, un trabajo que amaba profundamente y del cual se sentía muy orgulloso —siempre reconocido por su característica gorra de UPS—. Su espíritu solidario también se reflejaba en la manera en que trataba a los demás con respeto y en su disposición constante para ayudar cuando alguien lo necesitaba.
Compartía además un lazo muy especial con sus fieles compañeros felinos —Puchis, Fancy y Pepe— quienes le brindaban consuelo y alegría.
Guillermo será recordado por su gran corazón, su inquebrantable bondad y el amor que entregó a su familia y amigos. Su legado de generosidad y entrega continuará viviendo en todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó.
