Please accept my sincere condolences to the Guitar Shorty family, friends and fans. Guitar Shorty was a legendary blues guitarist who influenced Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy. May the God of all comfort who is the hearer of prayers be with you in your time of need with his loving kindness and peace as He strengthens you to cope during this difficult time. Guitar Shorty will be missed, but his talent as a guitarist will not be forgotten. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

Guitar Shorty was a gem! He would come play at Sealy Flats in San Angelo TX. People would be amazed at the way he could play his guitar. I kept in touch with him the last 12 years . I’m so going to miss him. My prayers are with his family at this time!
