Gustave Takacs, age 91, of Painesville Twp., OH, passed away Sept. 14, 2025, at Tripoint Medical Center in Concord Twp. Born July 13, 1934, in Kohfidisch (Gyepufüzes), Austria to Lajos and Erzsébet (Marakovits) Takács. He immigrated to the United States in 1956. After moving to Perry in 1964, he started working for and eventually retired from Dyson in Painesville. He is survived by his daughter Nikki "Ildiko" Goff of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Erik and Andrew Takacs, Michael and Shawnna Goff. and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ethel (nee: Kertesz), children Steven and Frank and brother Steven Takacs. A memorial service with be held at 11am on Friday at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home in Painesville with a visitation from 10 to 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery to follow.
