Spokane - Guy Curtis Bates, 68 years old, born October 9, 1956, in Yakima, WA. Guy lived, loved, worked, died April 17, 2025, of a heart attack in Spokane, WA. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 33 years, Nancy Bates; father, Edward Bates; stepfather, Robert "Bob" Lee; stepfather, Everett Craig; sister-in-law, Karen Bates; stepbrother, Steve Lee; and stepsister, Linda Russell. He is survived by mother, Dolores "Laurie" Lee-Craig; brother, Duane Bates; sister, Vickie Berger and Sonny Crozier; sister-in-law, Vicki Lee; stepbrother, Bob and Cheri Lee; and stepsister, Debbie and Darrell Kolshelnik. Guy was third generation and last owner of Lee's Keys, Spokane, WA. Guy and Nancy worked side by side running the locksmith shop and everything in their life. Guy was an important part of the community providing quality, trustworthy locksmith services. He will be in our hearts always. We miss him so much.
