Guy Maurice Buckley

I just found the obit for Guy and am so sad to hear of his passing. He was my divorce attorney and an awesome and amazing attorney at that. I am so sorry for your loss. He stood tall and proud of his family, and his accomplishments. He had more stories to tell than could fit in any single visit. Thank you for sharing this information about him. I believe that he is with God and watching over all of those who he cares/cared about.

Calling him from a jail cell, after being wrongfully arrested. "Don't worry. You'll be out in the morning". Early that next morning, I was out, and the person that wrongly accused me apologized in tears.

I´m sorry I did not hear of Guy´s passing until now. I loved working in the Mesa Temple with him. He always said I would probably get to the Celestial Kingdom before me. Well, we now know he beat me to it. I loved that man.

I did not know Guy had passed until one of my piano students´ parent mentioned it this October!
The last time Guy and I spoke in August, we talked on the phone about the stock market.
Guy worked his brilliant litigating magic on behalf of one of my piano students who
Lost a finger three years ago.
I traded his legal services for help with a case of my own by working in his office with him for almost two years.
I would help prepare PI cases, DR cases and one huge commercial case that had a room full of exhibits labeled in categories using the complete 26 letters of the alphabet and back though it again to the letter M.
I had the privilege to be friends with Ruth also!
We would talk on the phone and laugh together and I visited with her at the office & at their home. I also attended Stephanie´s singing engagements outside the Mesa Temple by the reflection pool. What a beautiful voice she has & such a proud daddy!
After reading the obituary just now, I can recall so many stories that Guy told me and clients we worked with.
He was a hero litigator!
Guy and Ruth are the epitome of sincerity, great Americans, and an example & blessing to everyone!

So sorry for your loss. Guy gave me a job when I got out of law school, even. Though I wasn´t lads and was female. He was a unique and wonderful person.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
