They later moved to Jackson, MS where Guy attended Provine High School. He was a member of the Class of 1986.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022 Guy was called home to be with God.
Guy was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Armon Butler; and six siblings, Mrs. Sharon Johnson, Mr. Johnnie Melvin Peel, Mr. Curtis McArthur Peel, Mr. Sylvester Peel, Mrs. Rosemary Thompson and Mrs. Kathy Denita Walls.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: six daughters, Guyanna Peel, Latonya Morris, Guyeshia Peel, Jenica Butler, Guylexius Peel, and Guylai, Peel; two sons, Guy Peel, Jr. and Guy Peel, III; one brother, Mr. John B. Peel (Schertz) of Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Sander Trader, Ms. Devois Peel, and Mrs. Joyce Horton of Jackson, MS; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him so much.
