IWhile serving together at Station Moriches, he was my duty section leader, and I had the privilege of learning from his extensive experience and leadership skills. Years later we were stationed at Marine Safety Office Miami together, and remained friends.

One of many special and great memories I have of my Uncle was when He and Mary Pat were getting married and they asked my sister and I to be flower girls but they waited until the rehearsal to tell us we had to dance with the ring bearer..... I'm going to miss him. I'm grateful, now that he's not in pain and is now at peace. All my love and prayers for his beautiful daughters Tara and Amanda and grandchildren, Aunt Lou, Aunt Trudy, Uncle Bobby and my mom Arline and also my cousins.
Arline Potter Mattfeld.
